Grants for preparing for new Customs declarations
It is estimated that there are 180,000 UK businesses that currently trade with the EU but not with the rest of the world. From the 1st of January 2020 all those businesses will be required to provide documentation with their exports that conforms to a host of new rules and regulations. The government is gearing up to receive an additional 250m customs declarations.
The Government has made £50m of grants available (first come first served until the funding runs out) in the form of:
- Recruitment Grants
- Training grants
- IT improvement grants
The IT grants can be used for
- Buying packages of software
- installing the software
- buying and installing related hardware
- training employees to use the software
TheDevTeam can help in the whole journey, choosing the right software packages, integrating them into existing systems, supporting your staff in running these new systems and applying for the grants.

• Is anybody using spreadsheets to record and report on regular activities?
• Spending a lot of time updating the data in a standard report on a periodic basis?
See why they shouldn't be doing that…..
